History of Mama's Brew Pub

Mama's has been through a lot of changes since 1992 when it originally opened on Main Street in Fredericton, N.B.

It has always been known as a place to go for great pub style comfort food, including our famous wings which haven't changed since then (always fresh, never frozen and in house prepped).

Although the wing recipe has not changed, a lot else has...ownership changed from the Yerxas to the Elliots and then was sold to Patricia Campbell in 2005.

After operating on Main for three years by Pat and her two daughters, Mama's relocated to 500 Brookside Dr. in June of 2008.

Remaining on the Northside and not to far from Main St., Mama's was able to keep many of it's original patrons while attracting new regular customers from the surrounding areas.

In 2009, after her daughters had moved on, Pat partnered up with life long Northsider Brad who had been in the bar business for years.

Pat and Brad have made many changes at the new location including a major expansion in 2014 and becoming a brew pub in 2016.

Ryan Kingston (CPGA Golf Pro, Certified Wine Somelier and Mama's Bar Keep) added Brew Master to his list of credentials after brewing the first Mama's craft brew under the tutelage of local Brew Master Andrew Estabrooks.

His knowledge of brewing and creativity in flavoring increases batch by batch which has made our latest endeavor a great success.

We thank all our loyal customers old and new. None of this would be possible without you. Welcome to Mama's Brew pub!
